A distinctive hybrid between C. saluensis and C. reticulata, raised in East Sussex, the large semi-double pale pink flowers provide a fine contrast to the bronze tinted leaves in the Spring. Prefers a north or west facing site and a neutral to acid soil. The open lax habit make it a fine wall shrub.
