A fine spreading evergreen Shrub 1.5m x 1.5m which can be covered in fragrant white flushed pink flowers for a long period in late Summer. Full Sun or light Shade, well drained fertile soil. Hardier than most other Abelias. One of the parents of Abelia x grandiflora and as good a garden plant.

Abelia mosanensis is one of the hardiest forms of this Summer flowering evergreen Shrub whose arching branches form a mound, up to 1.5 m high covered with pink buds followed by fragrant white flowers in May and June. Full sun or light shade and a neutral to slightly acid soil. Native to Korea.
