Variety:
Flowering in late winter and early Spring, this hybrid, raised in Cornwall, has durable bright rose pink single flowers in profusion. Hardy in most of the British Isles, it prefers light shade and a well drained neutral to acid soil. Unless pruned, it will grow to 3 m x 2 m and bring a welcome splash of colour to the dull days of late winter.

A exceptionally pretty evergreen shrub with a white margin to the semi- double pink flowers in Spring contrasting with very dark green, holly like leaves. A sport of C. Lady Vansittart, selected in 1947. 2 m x 2 m but can be easily pruned. Camellias prefer light shade, some shelter and a neutral to acid soil with adequate drainage.

Raised in France prior to 1894. Camellias prefer some shelter, light shade and a neutral to acid soil with adequate drainage,
